Our Lord
Who Is The Lord?
Cell-less hair hit your dusty frame on the hip;
And I feel alone in your notebook’s eerie margins.
Here, above all, I’m wondering when Lord will sink her eyes beneath my scalp,
And I wonder when this Lord will be just your floating face.
I’m on your phone, I know I’m alone,
Yet when we’re being baptized,
Holy in the violet waters, only swallowing my sins down,
I’ll be seeing God
and I’ll still be able to show my faith.
