Wine Is Like Blood
Red wine stains my lips like blood
The glass slides out of my hand
Head down, heart on sleeve
I lay in waiting
To embrace my prey
I listen to every mans footsteps
Those long legs make a pass at mine
Ripped apart so soon
He isn’t mine
I can’t capture his mind
I will just have to warm up my heart again
My heart has gone cold
Another glass for another day
More prey but for another day

I don't know what feelings came over me when I wrote this. To me, it seems very odd and quite eerie. If you read this, take a minute to tell me what you got from this.
