Raw frozen air tickles at children’s pink cheeks as they slip down hills of frozen fluff.
All around twinkling lights in all colors being strung illuminating the night sky.
While little white puffs float through the air as groups sing in groups of the merry time.
By their feet the earth covered in a thick layer of slick icy crystal.
The scents of cinnamon, nutmeg and maybe even peppermint float from their warm freshly baked seasonal sweets.
Faces of citizens young and old light up as they locate the perfect pine soon to make their own.
Along the branches lives strings of popcorn and lights next to festive ornaments of various colors sizes and shapes.
Beneath the decorated branches live presents perfectly packaged.
Warm cookies and milk lay on a plate waiting for someone to nibble.
Tiny feet tear through the house early in the day awakening everyone slumbering around them.
The sound of shredding paper and the gasps as gifts are ripped open tear through the home.
This is the image of December.
