It seems
around this time of year
everyone has someone
but me
I’ve been waiting
forever
for someone
to come along
a knock me
off my feet
but still catch me
So many times
I’ve been swept away
in love
but none of the ones
who caused me to fall
(in love)
catch me
and I land
on the
cold
hard
floor
So here we are
again
another year without
a stupid
Valentine
another year
where I’m
alone
on the day
of love
I hate this day
Valentine’s
day
