When I close my eyes,
I see you staring.
Staring into me,
Deep into my soul.
You understand me.
We have connected,
In every way and,
I want to trust you.
I really do but,
I can't let you in.
You'll only cause pain,
Just like all the rest.
Everyone leaves right?
Even your shadows,
Leave you in the dark.
