I love you, too.
I love you.
Whispered the wind.
It for sure carried a conversation,
It couldn't be meant for her.
I love you.
Whispered the handwritten letter.
She had probably misread the faded words.
I love you.
Whispered her mother,
As she kissed her cheek and bid her goodnight.
I love you.
Whispered her father,
As he tucked her under the covers and wished her sweet dreams.
I love you.
But she never believed it,
Could never believe it when it came from someone else's mouth,
She couldn't fathom such thoughts.
I love you.
Said the text message.
They were obviously playing her.
I love you.
She heard in a song dedicated for her.
The radio station must have confused the track.
I love you.
Whispered the sea.
As its waves gently crashed into a continuously soaked shore.
This is how much I love you,
It whispered.
As much as the bottomless ocean,
And the never ending sky.
As much as the Galaxy,
With its infinite stars.
As much as a rainbow,
With its bright colors;
The promise of warmth.
I love you.
A tight smile. She lives in denial.
"I love you, too."
This, she meant, and believed in wholly.
