Subtitled, Subconscious
Rage
spinning from the pit of my stomach
dripping from my fingertips
never in my life
have i felt the touch of indignation’s
searing hot gauntlet
anger isn’t aggression
its the last kick of vitality
the last fire of self-respect
the last desperate
screaming
bullet
in the side of reality
and a war cry
against the riptide of resignation
to bite back the hand that tries
to feed you your fate
that you must accept that you will fall
that you cannot get up
that no one can help you
other than to say
“ its ok to cry”
