Quilted
My heart is full of patches, pulled strings, and tiny holes
It's stuffed with stuff that used to be fluff but it's growing kinda old
People will take swatches here and there or little bits of cloth
To take and give is one thing, but I guess the must have forgotten
For my heart is full of patches, pulled strings and tiny holes
A patch to swap for pieces taken, I have yet to be given
My hearts is sort of ragged now without it's fluff and bits
I get my strings and cloth and such and do repairs myself
I sew each tiny stitch alone, while praying for precision
So now, I am less careless when people want a swatch
I know that many would take my fabric for their own
No swap for swap material, no patches for return
