Poetry is like religion.
Confusing at first,
then enlightening when
you understand.
It gives you something to hold on to.
Something that sucks you in and doesn’t let you go.
Other time,
it can be infuriating
like school.
When you can’t understand
what is being taught to you.
You may think it’s nothing,
But you just need to listen.
