Alive, you're in Wonderland
I am Alice.
And I am here.
Wonderland apparently,
But I'm full of dread and fear.
Everyone's like the Cheshire Cat,
Smiling all the time,
Even though their souls are broken,
You see, that's just like mine.
I walk through the forest,
All the flowers do sing.
Even though they're bored and lonely,
And classed as .just a thing'.
The Mad Hatter's at his table,
Laughing at a joke.
The rabbit just agrees.
Poor Mousie has never even spoke.
The Queen of Hearts controls them,
Judging thier every move.
I can feel her eyes watching me!
Be calm, Alice, quiet and smooth!
But who can help me here in Wonderland?
Help me to escape?
This strange world of weirdness.
Boiling, burning snowflakes...
With everyone a different person,
Who am I meant to trust?
But you see I have to escape,
I have to, I just must.
So who can take me from this nightmare?
This nightmare masked as a dream?
What if i can't forget all this?
Unsee the things I've seen?
This place is far too scary.
So perculiar, so unreal.
So what is this strange sense of belonging,
That I can intenstly feel?
I
Want
To
Escape.
But here I stand.
'Alice, my love,
You're in Wonderland.'
