My blood, chemical makeup
Comes from another land
Imported here
For boring people seeking to be awaken
By exotic things like me
And awaken I will!
Wake up!
Bang pop ring-
I am a spice
Shoveled in and scourged down
Fast, to ignore my pain
I am a spice
Lingering after sips of water
And pestering throats I do not agree with
I am a spice
An Alien
A Poignant Reminder
A Taste That Cannot Be Avoided
