Vampires

The lust for blood running through their veins,
they're not like zombies, they don't want brains.
They breathing of a child tucked in the bed,
the silence of the night, with their teeth stained red.
Scared of the light but out for the night,
If you try to run they'll surely put up a fight.
They'll bite your neck and drink all your blood,
then throw your dead body into the mud.
So next time you hear a faint drip under your bed,
you just might want to cover your head.
