My Dying Soul
Is it too much to ask,
to be able to go back?
Back to a time when,
I wasn't under attack.
Emotionally and mentally,
scarring inside.
The pain just feels like,
a fast growing tide.
The rising and falling,
wont fade away.
I fear for my future,
and what ahead might lay.
As the light starts to fade,
my angels with fall.
With the darkness that rises,
my demons will crawl.
The heart will beat,
the air will rush.
'Till the last time,
the blood will gush.
My life slowly fades,
it all seems a lie.
Sooner then later,
my soul will die.
