Pirate Life
It is hard, the pirate life.
You never ask questions,
You just take out your knife.
You gain obsessions,
Over gold and glory.
And when people ask,
You never tell them your story.
You simply take out your flask,
And drink as much as you will.
When people come looking,
Warding them off is your skill.
They all beware of your hooking,
And fear your sturdy stares.
They all wonder about you,
But no one really cares.
You’re hard on your crew,
So they don’t care either.
You may have a license to kill,
But sometime you need a breather.
This all may make you feel ill,
But one day this life will be mine.
It is a job someone must take,
Even though, I am only nine.
It is hard, the pirate life.
I must never ask questions,
Just take out my knife.
