"Brave Face"
I have scars and internal scars, they bleed and they ache. their reminders of my mistakes. I sit and rot under my flesh, but I still will not say " I regret". I walk tall and never sway, but underneath I crawl so much I ache. All have seen somewhat of despair, but what I have seen is beyond compare. Nobody knows the emptiness that surrounds; to be lost and never found. Aquaintances and nameless faces see my smile, but reversed it's like a tire. Black and old, wearing away just about to break. I cannot be sorry for how I feel but sometimes there is wishful thinking for some happiness to steal. As of right now and until the end my boots will be tight and laced as I continue to wear and show my brave face.
