Dear Kitty
When you first arrived, I wanted to believe, Believe that things wouldn't change, That life could continue, That maybe, just maybe, you'd be a friend. I thought that may be things could work out; After all, you were still so small, You didn't look that different from me, I thought that perhaps, your different features would grow out, Or perhaps that they would merely be superficial... How wrong I was, for now I know, Your hair clings to every surface, Your footsteps, silent, leave your stench, You steal the food, right from my plate, And hide in the shadows, waiting to strike. I'm sick of this. You are nothing but pain, You act like this place is yours, You lack the respect deserving of your caretakers, You carry the reputation of your fetid race. Your time has come, now you must leave, Demon feline, be gone from here, Leave this place and never return, Or I shall bare my fangs, and tear you to shreds. The loyal hound, protecting his master's land.
