Dandelion Fluff

If I had a field
full of dandelions
with their heads
all covered
with white fuzz
I would use them
all on you
I’d spend all day
walking through the field
stepping carefully
so not to disturb any of the
precious fuzz
picking the one’s
with the softest tuffs
and whitest fluff
All day I would walk
doing this
until the sky was filled
with white fluff
that flies on a soft gentle breeze
that blows away in the wind
and all that’s left
is your name on my lips
And I would do it again
in a heartbeat
