Sometimes my body is a puppet
my mind the puppeteer
controlling it
but not a part of it
Sometimes my consciousness floats above me
like a poltergeist
moving my along like a chunk of flesh
Sometimes i’m here
physically
but i am not really here
i am a wisp inside a cage
dribbling out my ear
flying away
Sometimes i am reality
firmly here
embedded in myself
But other times i am absent
a shell full of sawdust
a body disconnected
interrupted from reality
split between fantasy
and illusion
grasping for a link
that will bring me back to what i am
