What Do You Want?
They say to be who you are,
But what do you do when they judge you for that?
You run far,
such long distances,
to reach where you are now,
but why do they tell you that isn't good enough?
Why do they bring you down for doing what they want you to?
Well, maybe they are trying to teach a lesson,
The reason they say what they do,
All the lies and rumors that are spread,
All of they spread about you,
They throw their harsh words,
They want to break you,
Tear you down,
They'll twist their words around your ankles,
Drag you down below the sea's surface.
They'll entangle your thoughts with their lies,
Make you think what isn't true,
They want to teach you,
That their words don't matter.
All that matters,
Is what you think of you.
So, throw away the lies they made you believe,
Treat yourself to thoughts of the perfect fantasy.
Love yourself, because you don't want anyone else to,
Find someone to treat you,
The way you would treat you.

This goes to anyone who is scared to be ho they are because they are scared of what people might think. Love yourself, every part of you, because nothing else should matter besides what you think of yourself.
