Missing Pieces
Others do not see what I do - what is on the inside is not always so true.
I have cracks and missing pieces with ends that will never meet.
At night when the clock turns 2 is the time my heart finally starts to beat.
The wheels in my head start spinning too fast with the thoughts I forgot to forget.
I have things inside of me that bring nothing but shame and regret.
