Listen to the bells
for they ring.
Peek through fogged trails
that entrail her skin
and seep into her veins
for the numbness
is called upon
and here he comes now.
Close those eyes of yours
and feel this-
this depravity of any emotion at all.
Listen carefully again-
can you hear that thumping there?
That hollow sound?
