When you go out into the world
When you go out into the world
Remember the people you’re leaving behind, like your parents and old friends because you might need them one day
Thank the people who taught you things, because they might not be around one day to thank
And forget the ones, who have hurt you; since they mean nothing and give you nothing but drama and pain
Don’t be upset that high school is ending soon; remember everything. Remember all the fun things and laugh about them. Remember the bad things and learn from them
Think about college
Think about your future
It’s okay if you don’t know what you want to do.
It’s okay to be scared; everyone gets scared sometimes
Take your time; making important decisions too fast is never the best
Don’t let fear hold you back; everything can be scary. Don’t let the fear of failing scare you away from being successful
Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do it; because those people are jealous of your success
Let yourself love; because being afraid of getting your heart broken will hurt more than the actual thing
Forgive the people who have hurt you; holding grudges only makes you bitter
Let yourself cry, tears are a way of healing
Don’t be afraid that people will make fun of you or call you weak; because everyone cries every so often
When you go out into the world
Make it better for your children
Don’t make it worse
Don’t be too hard on yourself
If you fail
Get back up
And try again
No one ever got anywhere without trying more than once
