my deepest fears, my darkest fears
it feeds my soul, it beats in me
my everlasting heartbeat
Heart beats, my heart beats
the beast inside I can't resist
may all the troubles disappear
the smoke of what will never end.

This is from a time when I was having a lot of trouble finding peace within myself. It was a time of mental turmoil, because one of my best friends had just asked out the other, who I had had a crush on for the longest time.
