For Those Who Are Not Humans
The brisk jays do not know glass panes
Know how to snap their neck,
And the spiders meandering under the door
Face death for the petty trek.
For when the mouse makes an abode for herself
Her meals are death in disguise.
Not every being receives the chance to live,
Even though we all get to die.
