Fascination
Green.
My favorite eye color
A color that sparkles
A magnificent mutation
That holds the serenity of nature
And a symbolism for envy
Envy.
A feeling sparked
Fueling a fire that burns blue
Whenever she speaks to you
Whenever memories are made without me
Me.
Unworthy of your time
Waiting by the sidelines
Stuck in a routine of
Heart wounds that don't bleed
Hidden feelings that seem to scream
You deserve so much more
In my eyes
Eyes.
What I would give for a small connection
For those irises to glimmer with affection
My brown ones would tell so much if only they'd meet
The most empyrean shade of green.
