My Four-Legged Angel
When I was a baby
You decided I was yours
Sleeping in my crib each night
Chasing the monsters away
As I grew older
You were always there
A constant comfort
When I was upset
It was only the best for you
You were a queen
A pampered princess
Always getting your way
You never cared
What I was doind
You wanted loves
And you wanted them now
Though your last days were rough
You never failed to make me smile
Always succeeding in your quest for cuddles
May you rest in peace
I wish I could hold you one last time
Pet your soft fur
And tell you how much I'll miss you
My four-legged angel

This poem was inspired by my cat Boo-boo, who my family had my entire life. She was the most cuddly and wonderful cat you'd ever meet. She lived a full and happy life for a cat- eighteen years which is pretty darn long for a house cat. She was the kind of cat that you could sit and hold for hours and she'd be very happy, purring the entire time. On June 3, 2015 she went onto a better place. Rest in peace, Boo-boo.
