My Message to my Generation
Distant
The time has come for us to take a moment and breath,
To stop all the mayhem inside your head causing you to heave.
Money has become the god in our lives, filling us with useless pride,
When really it has been used to try to make the problems hide.
Just like the screen you hide behind.
Stop broadcasting your worries on Twitter,
We all know mom’s comforting words will taste less bitter.
Face to face communication has become something like a vacation,
Because of all these iMacs, iPhones, iPods, and iPads taking over our nation.
Maybe one day, we’ll wake up and see that life doesn’t have to be as distant as we make it to be.

This was inspired by things going on in my generation. It also was inspired by what technology has done to it.
