Blue Victories
Up, down, round and round, I'll never make it passed the crowd.
For days and days i stand in the stands, watching, watching the victors dance.
I wish i was a victor too, i try and i try and i turn out blue.
Just a couple milleseconds behind, i realize oh realize this is my disguise.
My walls of confindence crumble down, but no one hears a single sound.
Life and death don't seem to matter, aftert you hear the final chatter, through the intercom, in front of the class, all i see is the victor laugh.
And i sit there knowing it'll never be true.
The final victor through and through.
Me oh me why not me? i deserve the chatter, i deserve such need.
My thirst for attention can get quite strong, and i start to think of the final fall.
If i fell off a bridge would i get attention? would i get what i need without having to mention, the moment oh moment that i see true,
Me standing on that podium,
Not at all blue.
