She...
  She could be the waves
  Lashing wildly on the shore.
  Strength, then crashing to the ground
  And still she would rise and try again
  She could be as changeable as the moon
  Never showing that darker half
  Always partly hidden to the world,
  Never believing she might be even more radiant than the sun.
  She was free like the wind
  Stronger alone, and no one to tie her down
  Refusing to be defined by what others said she had to be
  Having the courage to love herself for who she truly was.
  She was beautiful.
  Not for the way she looked, but for how she saw the world.
  The smallest joys were the largest miracles
  She was a mosaic of mismatched pieces, breathtaking to behold.
