My promise

With a broken promise
With a heavy heart
we can all notice
that we've drifted apart
we lost our glue
and then I lost you
with nothing but tears
I agonized in fear
I wanted to follow
but I knew it was wrong
I started feeling hollow
but my family made me strong
we we're three
now we're one
and I see
our bond is done
left behind
I will keep you in heart
won't rewind
we'll have to stay apart
I'll join you one day
but that day won't be soon
in the end everything will be okay
that's a promise...I swear on our moon.
