"My life - my personality, my habits, even my speech - is a combination of the books I choose to read, the people I choose to listen to, and the thoughts I choose to tolerate in my mind."
- Andy Andrews

So tired,

My eyes are heavy,

Kind of sting,

My brain refuses,

To take in anymore,

I just want to sleep,

And do nothing,

Be nothing,

To ignore my reponsibilities,

Without the repercussions,

I want things to just slow down,

And just be still,

Calm,

For time to stop ticking,

Like the everlasting bomb,

That it is,

Maybe only when it finally explodes,

Will the forward motion cease,

And desist,

And then we can rest,

And then we can sleep,

Responsibilities won't matter,

Repercussions are worthless,

I wonder,

What kind of a world,

Would that be?

The author's comments:

I really hadn't meant for this piece to get so heavy at the end. I was writing in English one day when I was really tired, hence the begginning, and when I tried to end the piece, my more philisophical side came out. Oops.
