Dumbo
Dumbo's standing in the middle of the room
But we just walk around him
Cuz no-one wants to greet him
And say hello
We keep him fed on snacks and scraps
So he won't bellow
And we can pretend he isn't there
We ignore his tracks
Stepping around, underneath, behind
Our eyes are blind
To the truth
One day Dumbo will grow enormous
He will crush us
Then, we will feel him
We will see him
We will know
There's an elephant in our living room
