Absence
In my very hands I do cherish it. Crisp, and white as pure snow.
Breathing in the moments. From time, and time ago.
Every breath turning shallow as myself abhorrence is in tack.
Struggling with the memories, and the courage I’ve sense lacked.
Tears they do find their way quickly brimming up in mine eyes.
Perhaps another further day could lay ease upon a dreary mind.
When and where time took her leave is simply stowed away.
In a small chest with a lock. Within a battered cave.
Aware is no one that time..time did sweep away with the key.
All that is known is that in dead night the cries are met silently
