painting you, gone
when you left
when you left
when you left
I stopped writing
the muse fell short
in the failings of my breath
I started painting red lines
dreaming of sickness
and pouring rain
i never knew how
blurry and hazed
the world could become
as night pushes towards my lungs
i start to cough up reasons
why i cant breathe without you near
the blackness is in my veins
straggling within me now.
when you left
death started to heave again
