As I wipe the dew from my lover's eyes

  I speak of love one last time

 

I know once this moment is over

  I will never find another to compare

 

Our love was so deep

  emerald pools flood in despair

 

Now in our final moment to part forever

  I smile because our love was something

     no one could sever.
