The First Day
The time has come
school
time.
My sister and I run to the school
from
the car.
We run to the two story school building
being
excited and scared.
Our skirts and jumpers blowing in the breeze
as
we
run.
We run to our classes,
are greeted by our new teachers,
and see some old,
and
some new faces.
RING!
Goes the bell.
The day
has
begun.
And
our
eyes
are
locked
on
the
clock
until
the
bell
rings
again.
