You really are gone, aren't you, King
For a while I thought you'd come back to me
I never once imagined this could be forever
It breaks my heart that we aren't together
I miss you like a ripping in my seams
I miss you like a tearing in my stitches
My already sewn heart is being wheeled back to surgery
There's no home from rehab now
There's no home without you
The only way you'll read this is if you find it
One day online or at the library
Now that you won't even look at me, King
I think you're gone for good
