I wished upon a falling star

I wished upon a falling star
to find out who I am
for I was like a newborn child
that could not walk or stand
And as I watched this falling star
that fell down from above
I expected to find my identity
but instead my heart found love
For this was not a falling star
but and angel sent from heaven
who showed me who I was to be
and helped me see my blessings
And as my heart began to wake
this boy from South Carolina
I fell in love with a beautiful girl
and angel named Savannah
