i keep seeing him in the halls,
in random strangers, in close friends,
in acorns on the street.
the thought of him is plaguing me,
enveloping my every inch.
i don’t know how to get rid of him,
is there a cure for his possession?
is there any way to escape his grasp?
any way to break his ravenous grip?
i cannot escape him
