What a cliche
Here she is, day by day
Just working away.
Everyone's gone as she works
without a sound.
what they don't know.....
She sees no beauty in herself...
Everyone's gone, she's all alone again.
In the old house, she cleans up the mess,
but what appreciation will she see?
Not enough to forget
She is no princess...
She's thrown away her gloves,
shattered away the glass.
She leaves tonight by moonlight.
If you think she's coming back,
well, Charming, think again.
She never needed a prince...
She ran from the house,
never looking back.
Just imagine how she fled,
without those shoes made of glass.
