Inner Storm
  The world is a hurricane
  A storm with biting rain
  And voices that howl
Into our ears till they bleed
  Ice falls like broken glass
  Chipped from the heavens
  By a cacophony of thunder
  Raining upon the heart
  These shards sink deep
But love, full of warm glory
  Finds its way through
  Breaking open the thunder
  And spilling the tender silence
  Upon our crimson bodies
  Love cascades down
  In a curtain of light
  Holding back the world
  Deep and gentle
  Soft and warm
This is the eye of the storm.
