The Music

Listening to music puts me in a good mood.
It just makes me want to groove.
I just can't help me snapping.
i may also be clapping
Music is a lot to me in life.
I listen to it a lot.
I play an instrument too.
The music is all around me.
I almost always like to keep a beat.
No matter what music will be there.
It will be waiting.
What is it waiting for?
It is waiting for many things.
Waiting for the press of a play button.
Waiting for the director to signal for it to start.
Waiting to grace someone's ears once again.

I was inspired to write this piece because of a poem I read. (The first 2 lines are from the peom called "Music is everything")
