Peolpe sith on the streets,

starving,

freezing,

and crying out to us.

Kids sit for years in a group home.

With few friends,

And no one to call family.

People are told to say what they think,

If only to be ridiculed and dispised for it.

Parents sit around unemployed,

Nothing tio provide for their families,

Sitting alone in thought of what might happen.

In this world these people are everywhere.

Alone, neglected, 

And so desprately asking for our help.

But we ignore them,

And deny them the help they so desprately need.

But what am I to do.

I am just a kid.

I have no power.

I heard a wise man say,

"Be the change you wish to see in the world."

That inspired me,

To answer those calls.

I am taking action today,

To be the Change.
