Constellations
My mind is an open sky
Painting constellations through stars
That seem small to the people looking up at them
But in reality are larger then life
Blanketing an infinite sky I am so damn afraid of getting lost in
I am armed with a map and compass
With a pen in one hand
And a spider web in the other
The map leads me into galaxies
While the compass spins in every direction
With my pen I hurl my words into space
Hoping they will be caught by stardust
But
There are never enough words to complete the puzzle pieces running rampid through my brain
I keep the spider web to catch the words
Before they spill secrets from my mouth
Within my silence I weave tapestries
The threads cascading through the words I speak
And the words I don't
As my sky paints the constellations
I am still travelling through.
