Heart
Hearts are not beautiful things to see.
They are red, spew blood, and can have clogged arteries.
But they are strong and last long and symbolize are love.
Not the love of beauty but the love of strength.
Not the strength that conquers nations and makes kings.
But the strength to get through the death of a friend, or the loss of a mother.
The strength to live through any day no matter what.
It is a power that protects the people from loosing all hope.
It was a power that fought off the Nazi tyranny during a sickening time.
It was the heart that kept the soldiers going through the fight.
A heart was never meant to be a beautiful thing.
It was built to be strong and powerful in everyway.
A heart was built to be used everyday.
