Paradise
I was up at the crack of dawn
to ride a bike up and down the wooden boardwalk
Up until my skin began to turn red
The weather was Godlike
not too hot, not too cold.
the felicity this city brought me
it was my paradise
this paradise would make me arise
realizing all lies,
the azure skies shined down on me
the tawny sands warmed my feet.
the cobalt water cooled me off
the tan women smiled at me
such a divine place.
