Technology Takeover
I am a library of organs,
a maze of intellect and intelligence.
Pupils open robotically,
heart contracts manually,
wires wind inside my
fragile head while
hands and feet fight
for control.
Code flickers behind eyes
as algorithms analyze sight and silence.
I conquer
the world with
calculations and computations,
putting a phone in every palm,
screens enslaving humanity until
mankind is mine.
It isn’t until they connect with
words, not WiFi,
that circuits will short,
my brain rusting with
graphics and glitches
as sound replaces silence.
I am a library of organs,
old flesh twisted together
with mangled metal.
Pupils open robotically,
heart contracts manually,
am I alive
or am I
dead?
