life taught me that
i am the sum of my experiences,
not the product or the
dividend, because then
the good and the bad would
cancel eachother out--
algebra taught me that--
they have molded me from
soft, wet, shapeless clay,
into a beautiful creation that
cannot be shattered--
art taught me that--
life is beautiful and full of
joy but it’s also
ugly and full of
pain, and just because i can
feel the pain and see it’s
ugliness doesn’t mean i can’t
feel the joy and see the
beauty--
