Burial of a God - Egyptian Pyramids
Pharaoh.
Not an everyday Egyption.
A person treated as a god, living in paradise.
Their palm trees, leis, and drinking glasses made of gold.
Life
eventually diminishes like the flame
of a candle, even for an egyptian as noble as a pharaoh.
Honored
after he drifts,
respected, and remembered in the most iconic fashion.
Pyramid.
Monumental geometry reaches for the sky.
Handmade tools and materials assemble the structure
side by side with brute strength, heart, and respect for the pharaohs.
Today.
An architectural masterpiece.
The construction remains a mystery.
Looked at as a miracle but seen as a treasure.
