That Road
That road
I know so well
That road, it invites me to hell
A place known to crush dreams and morale
I follow the path
To turn from the past
I once lived
With the knowledge of my destination
This journey still precedes
Ignorance plays a role in my decision
As crazy as it sounds
My heart guides my compass
And my compass points to the lost and damaged
I don’t know if I shall return
All I know it that this road
Will have travelers just like me
